Buzoor Theatre Association for Culture and Arts Concludes the Documentary Film “Women Without Filters” Screening Tour

In a distinctive experience reflecting the power of art in fostering feminist solidarity and amplifying women's voices, Buzoor Theatre Association for Culture and Arts has concluded its screening tour of the documentary film “Women Without Filters”, which covered four governorates across the Middle Area. The screenings were hosted at various venues and witnessed remarkable audience engagement, despite the challenges encountered throughout the tour. The initiative reached approximately 300 in-person viewers through the screenings, in addition to an online screening attended by women from the West Bank.

This tour comes as part of ongoing efforts to empower women through arts and theatre, provide safe spaces where they can express their experiences and share their stories, amplify their voices within society, and strengthen their capacity for cultural and community participation.

The project represents an artistic and humanitarian platform that uses theatre and documentary cinema to address women's issues, highlight their lived experiences, and open community dialogues around the challenges they face. Through this approach, it seeks to strengthen women's visibility, uphold their right to expression and participation, and support their role in shaping change.

This experience marks an important milestone in strengthening the presence of Palestinian women in the cultural and social spheres. It reaffirms that art is not merely a means of presentation and viewing, but rather a space for connection, expression, and transformation; a bridge that carries women's stories to society and the world, while fostering solidarity among them. This vision is rooted in the belief that women's empowerment begins by giving them the space, the voice, and the opportunity to tell their own stories.
